Idaho Association of Soil Conservation Districts invites youth to come spend a week near scenic Sun Valley to explore and study Idaho’s natural resources. If you are between the ages of 12 and 14 and want to learn about the environment and how to protect it, this workshop is the place for you! Located within the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, there is no better place to explore wildlife, rangeland, forests, and learn about water and soil from certified instructors. Also enjoy activities like hiking, fishing, target shooting, learning firearm safety and sitting around a camp-fire with your peers. The Natural Resource Camp runs from June 27-July 2, 2011.
