About Environmental Awareness Days
The Environmental Awareness Days event is the home of a two day event held annually in May, where over 500 students experience hands-on learning at over 11 stations led by area professionals. Students from Lewiston, Clarkston, Lapwai, and Culdesac arrive in the morning excited to learn about all the natural resource stations available to them that day. At each station students participated in activities geared to engage them by hearing, seeing and doing so that they retain the information presented. The idea behind this event is not only to teach students about the environment but to give them the opportunity to experience it!
