This station is hosted by the Idaho Soil and Water Conservation Commission. Students learn about soil conservation and why soil is important. By the end of this station students are able to answer questions like : “Name three things that make up soil.”, “What makes soil different form geologic material?”, and “What is one of the soil particle size classes?” Students also get to experience how different residue covers can have on crop fields, and explains why this helps.
